The 10 of Pentacles is one of several cards which pictures a real place drawn by Pamela into the cards – the town and landscape of Winchelsea, England.
Pamela stayed near the village and sketched it whilst she was painting her deck in 1909. The small village also appears in several of her other paintings over the years, as the place of her Heart’s True Desire.
